This edition was released in 2025 as part of my “Printed Dream” project, which included an exhibition, a short video, and a three-day event for the public. My goal was to bring my dreams to life while elevating the quality of my work. I focused on details and aimed to produce museum-grade pieces, which ultimately culminated in the exhibition. I can say that this is the best thing that I have ever created and fun fact is that it wasn't on purpose.
intro:
"What was this year like for me?
It was full of work and life lessons. I felt joy, sadness, disappointment, and excitement. I fell more than once, but I also jumped higher each time. I would love to tell you everything, but I feel there wouldn’t be enough pages, and words alone couldn’t fully convey what I experienced.
In photography, I appreciate its incredible power to communicate, and with that, I’ll leave you here. Zines, as visual diaries, have become my annual tradition — and with each passing spring and a new year of life, they serve as a testament to the effort I put in.
This year I’m turning 22, and what you hold in your hands is the sixth part of my life project: an intuitive documentation of everyday life, showing a cross-section of my work over the year. This project started on my 17th birthday during the pandemic, though at the time I didn’t yet realize the power of printing your life.
For me, the magazine format represents artistic freedom. Each zine is significantly different from the others, serving as a record of growth and change. Interestingly, every time I prepare the final project for print, the only edits I make are technical. Each of the six editions represents a large dose of trust — in myself, and in my fingers tapping away at the keyboard. A true stream of consciousness.
If I were to summarize this year, there wouldn’t be enough space to thank everyone. Photography is a team sport, not a solo game, and from this place I want to thank everyone I met on this year’s journey of life. Without your faith, my visions and dreams would not exist — let this zine stand as proof.
Thank you!
Tommy"
This edition was made in 300 copies — three times more than any previous zine — and taught me a valuable lesson. Even though I sold more copies than before, I still had 100 left. I’ve never liked holding onto too much or letting things lose their purpose.
That year, I also created educational content, highlighting the work of talented young Polish photographers, with the support of the TOJESTART foundation, which I was part of. The zin project culminated in an exhibition at Ultrace, where, in a performative gesture, I gave away all remaining copies for free. It was controversial, especially for those who had purchased the zine, but I believe an artist must choose whether to sell their work for millions or give it away. I chose the second option.
This experience taught me patience and humility — that sometimes it’s not the moment to chase the next big step in the career. I’m grateful I learned this lesson while still young, with the freedom to make mistakes and that I have turned mistake into sharing my art.
Edition: 300 copies.
