Dobry Warun, Warsaw
February
This was my first solo exhibition in Warsaw. As a teenager and a newcomer to the city, it was challenging to build an audience and establish the necessary connections. Thanks to a friend working at a snowboard shop, I was able to find the right environment to present a winter portrait of Iceland.
The project is rooted in a week spent living in a car in the Eastern Fjords of Iceland. My memories of working and temporarily emigrating to the country crystallized into a series of visual postcards—images that stayed with me long after the journey ended. Perhaps the most important realization was that the true essence of Iceland can never be fully captured in photographs.
Exhibition took place in Dobry Warun in Warsaw - thanks a lot Maciej!
