The Big Hub, Warsaw
April
The exhibition took place on April 4–5, 2025, at the Brzozowski Palace in Warsaw.
This exhibition serves as a compositional bridge to Tommy Block’s first exhibition in 2021, when—still a teenager—he combined his photographic work with real cars displayed in the courtyard of the gallery. PRINTED DREAMS presents 20 of the artist’s most significant works, printed and framed in the quality he had always envisioned—hence the title of the exhibition.
The event extended beyond photography alone. It also featured educational talks, a space for community and creative exchange, and live concerts by emerging electronic music artists.
„This exhibition is a testament to a fulfilled dream—one that Tommy Block envisioned for himself while still a child. It is the dream of becoming an artist who can share his work with others, creating an authorial space that allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the world of his photography.
PRINTED DREAMS brings together twenty particularly important works from Tommy Block’s career. It is a visual narrative of his beginnings, his search for a personal visual language, and his journey toward trusting intuition. The collection was shaped by experimentation, mistakes, and lessons—often difficult and uncomfortable, yet formative, strengthening both character and artistic expression.
Tommy Block has grown up and realized his childhood dream. PRINTED DREAMS is a celebration of the moment when an idea transforms into matter, and a dream becomes reality.”
